Our Story

The biggest challenge of life is to be yourself
in a world that is trying to make you like everyone else
Developing young dancers for 10 years
Miss Melodee Studios is an extension of the Miss Melodee brand and offers creative and fine arts classes for children, teens, and adults.  At MM Studios we strive to nurture artistic and personal growth in a non-competitive, fun, and positive environment.  After many years of teaching children music, dance, and creative movement, Miss Melodee a singer, songwriter, and dancer, developed the “Dancing with Miss Melodee” brand.  Through her CD’s, DVD’s, Books, and the magical world of Boogieland (a land of dancing shoes), Miss Melodee brings an inspired twist to your typical dance studio and classes.  Together with her husband, former Broadway performer, Scott Bridges the brand was brought to life as Miss Melodee Studios in the heart of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, CA.

Come laugh & play, and dance & sing, and come find your melody!
Melodee Bridges aka Miss Melodee
Owner, Artistic Director
2011 IMA Nominee for Best Children’s Album, 2010 LA Music Awards "Best New Artist" Nominee; Melodee Holsinger-Bridges (AKA: Miss Melodee) was born in Pittsburgh, PA.   Upon the release of her first Album "Nothing but Change", Melodee was selected as a finalist on David Foster and NBC's "Star Tomorrow".  She has been performing professionally for over 15 years, but it is Melodee's gift of teaching that she is most proud of.  Her youthful spirit provides a magical connection to her students and the fact that she exudes a "Princess" like kindness is both engaging and inspiring to her young dancers.  Miss Melodee has been teaching children from 18 months to 10 years of age for over a decade.  She has also starred in and directed many children's' productions in theaters across the states from Pittsburgh, PA to Los Angeles, CA.  Her adaptations and workshops of children’s musicals are huge hits with adults and kids alike.  Miss Melodee's classes became

a destination location at studios around the Los Angeles area.  Now she brings her unique gifts and brand to her own studio in the San Fernando Valley, Miss Melodee Studios.

Melodee has a BFA in Musical Theater from Point Park University.  Believing in further education, she returned to school in 2010 attending UCLA.  There she worked with acclaimed lyricist Marty Panzer and won the Hal Gaba scholarship for excellence.  Combining her skills as a teacher and her talent for singing, dancing and composing music, Melodee created the "Dancing with Miss Melodee" CD in early 2011.  The successful debut of her "Dancing with Miss Melodee" CD has become the backbone of her teaching and an addictive "must have" for all her students.  After it’s release the CD also received 5 out of 5 Dove Seals of Approval for families of all ages, as well as becoming a Parents' Choice Classic Fun Stuff 2012 Award Winner.  She's thrilled that the music she created inspires her young dancers to become anything they dream of.
